OCAT program is designed for public safety officers who deal with conflict or potential violence. This includes law enforcement organizations and private security companies etc. Through a combination of Hands-on Exercises you will learn:

  • Apply state-of-the-art strategic concepts such as: spraying techniques, detachment, defensive positions, multiple adversary defenses, defend against moving attacks, ground defense and drawing techniques.
  • Avoid liability suits through: Certified training, understanding the effects of OC spray, isolating factors which justify OC use and proper OC incident certification.
Officer for Loss Prevention

Loss Prevention  is a course professionally designed aimed at helping retailers improve their profits through reducing their inventory, cash and safety losses. Loss Prevention Course was developed by a professional instructional designer in partnership with industry experts. The courses are designed to help retail companies and their employees to reduce retail theft and shoplifting while improving workplace safety.

Officer Survival and hands on the field
Officer Survival course is designed to increase officer safety, enhance professionalism, decrease citizen complaints, decrease mediated liability, and lessen personal stress on the job and at home. The course covers laws regarding the use of force, civil and criminal liability, mental conditioning, post-shooting trauma, and the dynamics of lethal force. Handcuffing
Handcuffing course is the most complete and advanced course in the greater Los Angeles. The course covers public safety officers including corporate security, law enforcement organizations as well as private sectors.
The techniques offered are useful and effective. Areas to be covered include: the safest approach and positioning for handcuffing, handcuffing the non-complaint subjects, prone and kneeling handcuffing, removing handcuffs and the use of numerous types of cuffs. Moreover, there will be hands on demonstration and participation of students.
Report Writing
Report Writing course that will help you write clear, concise reports—reports that will meet legal requirements and increase your chances of conviction.
Incident report writing is different from other types of writing such as administrative reports, research reports, creative writing, and expert opinion reports. Incident report writing is easier than the types mentioned above. This course concentrates on two major elements of incident reports, clarity and organization. The course expands the lesson by the application of advanced report writing exercises and the analysis of real report from real incidents. The student will also participate in group exercises to analyze writing scenarios.
Taser Course
Baton Tactics
TASER course will provide students with detailed information on how the TASER X26, X26P and X2 Conducted Electrical Weapons (CEWs) operate and how to properly maintain them. This course also provides the basic operational theory and practical training to instruct users to reasonably safely and effectively operate TASER. This course is open to sworn law enforcement officers and licensed professional security employees. Students will be shown troubleshooting and precautionary maintenance procedures. This course will also cover the techniques for proper assembly and examination of the physical and digital evidence associated with the deployment of a TASER® brand CEW. Topics covered include:
